Vincenzo Maccarrone - ERC Research Assistant
Vincenzo Maccarrone started his doctoral research at UCD in September 2016. As IRC postgraduate scholar, he analysed how the new European economic governance impacted on the systems of industrial relations in Ireland and Italy during the European sovereign debt crisis.
He joined the ERC team as Research Assistant in October 2020 to help analyse collective action of trade unions and social movements, the COVID-19 emergency, and their feedback effects on NEG and labour politics at the EU-level as well as in Germany, Ireland, Italy and Romania.
Vincenzo won a SASE Early Career Workshop Award 2017 and the UCD College of Business Research, Innovation and Impact PhD Award 2019. Publications can be found on his academic profile.
