Dr Imre G. Szabó - Research Associate

In his doctoral thesis at Central European University, Budapest, Imre explored labour unrest in public services in Denmark, Estonia, Hungary and Ireland. Within the ERC project, Imre focused on the EU's New Economic Governance (NEG) regime and labour movements' responses in the water sector. Imre's broader research interests include political economy, industrial relations and comparative social policy. Publications are available on both his Google Scholar profile and full university profile.

Imre resigned in August 2022 to continue his career as visiting professor at Central European University Vienna. He nonetheless collaborates with us as Research Associate.
